It is a great laptop with a excellent price. I like the big screen. The vista OS is great for graphics.

I've had this computer for a little over a year and I'm ready to switch to a Mac! Mine came with a Vista home premium edition. Vista is the worst OS ever. First, the unit doesn't have a lot of memory, so Vista takes a lot of space. Add norton protection suite and a spy sweeper, and the computer runs really really slow. Sometimes (25% of the time) it won't read cds or dvds. Second, Vista has compatibility problems with a bunch of software, most of all iTunes. Half the time iTunes won't play the music and there is absolutely NOTHING you can do about it other than restart the computer and hope iTunes will respond. I use this computer mostly for academic purposes, so I don't have that much music in it, I don't have any video, I don't play games in it. It doesn't have that many programs installed. Yet it is way too slow for a computer that's just over a year old. The battery lasts for an hour if that long (on the power saver mode). It might seem like a bargain but it isn't! It's a piece of crap!
