This is my first Notebook but I have used it for 6 weeks by now. I am very impressed with what I got for $640 after a rebate of $125. I have the impression that this product is not just full of features but also of high quality.
An unexpected feature: one can turn the display image into the horizontal position. If one then connects a keyboard and a mouse to USB ports and stands the computer on its side one gets what is practically a full-page screen.
The audio system is elaborate but of course one needs external speakers to take full advantage of it.
A few negatives. Consider whether weight will be important in your use. The image on the screen is fine but the reflections are disturbing even in not very bright surroundings. An anti-glare film I put on blurs the reflections and helps. It is hard to squeeze a disk into the delicate mechanism which reads and writes on it. The Veriface face recognition software had difficulty recognizing me. I uninstalled it and am using a password instead.
Unless the quality will turn out to be not as good as it appears to be, this is great value for the price.
