Docking station works well with our VAIO as it should. Occasional glitches with no response to peripherals on start-up - those being flat panel monitor, wireless mouse/keyboard and printer. We attribute this to our cats' activities of walking across our office table overnight. Re-seating the notebook into docking station corrects the problem. Note - if you use ClickFree back-up device, it MUST be used while notebook is removed from docking station. No USB activity from docking station

I just purchased this item, the RJ45 (Ethernet Port) is not working; I do not know it is defective or require some setup.

This replicator by Sony is suprior and highly functional. It has all the expected functions, the only thing missing is the audio port as a consequence I have to connect the speakers to the labtop itself.

Pros: Easy to set up and use, works well with the laptop. Easy udocking. Variety of connections offered. Price is relatively reasonable.
Cons: Laptop doesn't "lock" in place, only its weight keeps it in its slot, accidental movements may disconnect it from all the hardware during sensitive operations. No iLink or HDMI output.
